This large family house in Constantia is currently in the Statutory Approval Stage, with construction to commence in May 2012. It hasbeen designed for a growing family on adjacent property to the Groot Constantia vineyards. Care was taken to maximise thespectacular view s toward Table Mountain and Constantia Neck, whilst maintaining direct access to the large leafy garden which thehouse enfolds. A portion of the house is raised above ground to improve view s and to maintain continuity of nature beneath the building.Passive climate control elements have been included in the design in order to reduce future dependence on municipal services.
