Paarman Development Kitchen, ConstantiaCommercial

This building forms part of a broader landscape layout design for the 4ha site on the slopes of the Constantiaberg. Exquisite historical trees were preserved and incorporated into the overall design framework which is organized around a central werf and formal herb garden, both of which emphasize the rural farm character of the area. The development kitchen is designed as a rural shed with an internal steel structure inserted to free up the interior space. The building serves as a development kitchen as well as a corporate entertainment facility and incorporates guest accommodation.
